The Problem

The NHS West Lancashire CCG needed to create a public-facing website and host it outside of their network.

The Solution

We were approached by the NHS West Lancashire CCG to see if we could help with their requirement. As we were already working on another project for a different CCG, we were able to procure and configure a server for the site.

Our involvement with multiple other clinical commissioning groups and knowledge of their outsourced IT infrastructure allowed us to put an agreement in place with other groups within the NHS to share resources and costs, resulting in a considerable saving for all parties. The site is now wholly maintained by the CCG, with only occasional involvement from us for updates and maintenance on the server.
